AWS DevOps Engineer - York - Perm - GBP30K-GBP60K - remote working

The Bridge IT are currently recruiting for a permanent AWS platform engineer for a organisation to be based in York. This is working with cutting edge technologies to help deliver fantastic projects. It is working on a cloud migration, you will be working with cloudformation, terraform and AWS. These are the technologies you will gain exposure to, my client are looking to pay up to anywhere from GBP30K-60K basic salary therefore are looking for strong AWS engineers. You can also work remote for this position.

As a AWS Platform Engineer you will have full accountability for:

Strong commercial experience of managing complex multi-tier enterprise infrastructure environment

Extensive experience of CI pipeline development for Linux environment

In-depth knowledge of platform and application automated deployment

Exposure to continuous integration and build tools

Exposure to iterative/agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, etc.)

Use of source code version control (git)

Experience of Linux system administration skills

Understanding of software and infrastructure architecture

Experience for the role:

• AWS automation
• Terraform or CloudFormation are beneficial

You will gain exposure to the latest technologies and gain experience on working with the best platform engineers in the area to work together to help deliver great projects.
You will gain exposure to; puppet, chef, docker, kubernetes, AWS and Terraform
