The Role

As the Deputy Voids Supervisor, you will support the Voids Supervisor in the management of our building and repairs teams working on residential sites and buildings throughout Cornwall.
 
Ensuring that all operations run smoothly and works are carried out safely and professionally, you will resolve day-to-day issues with the team and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is delivered.
 
Additionally, you will:
 
- Provide cover for the Void Supervisor in their absence
- Identify the appropriate deployment of labour, materials, transport and plant
- Ensure all variations are measured, recorded and agreed with the Contracts Manager
- Ensure inspection sign off information is returned to the Administration team
- Ensure that work is carried out with maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct technical and Health and Safety site visits

About You

To be considered as the Deputy Voids Supervisor. you will need:

- A sound track record in building maintenance, diagnosing and specifying remedial repair works in residential buildings
- A positive and professional attitude to supervising others
- Health & Safety conscious and keenness to provide high quality services to customers
- The ability to prioritise operational tasks under pressure and be a role model to others
- A CSCS Card (or the ability to obtain one once in post)
- Proven IT skills
- A full driving licence

An understanding of the property maintenance industry would be beneficial, as would experience of overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential building repairs team.

Other organisations may call this role Construction Supervisor, Building Maintenance Team Leader, Remedial Works Lead, Senior Site Operative, or Lead Site Operative.

The closing date for this role is the 30th June 2021 with interviews scheduled for the 9th July 2021.
