DETAILS:
An ambitious chemical manufacturing company in the North West is looking for a Development Chemist with both a Commercial and Technical acumen. Building a team of experts with strong industry experience, this company are happy to invest in their employees, providing great development opportunities within.
You will have the chance to work with a large range of clients from global chemical companies to small independent chemical distributors, working with up to date technologies to deliver long term, tailored solutions.
Responsibilities include Product and Process Development where you will be improving or developing the existing product / service range and creating new ones; Speaking with, meeting and supporting clients on their requirements; Laboratory Management where you will be coordinating and maintaining the daily running of the laboratory; plus supporting the sales team in answering technical questions.
Requirements include:
* Degree level or above in Chemistry or equivalent.
* Laboratory management, reporting and documentation
* Commerial experience working with and speaking to clients on their requirements
* Industrial formulation chemistry, wet analytical chemistry or HPLC analysis is of benefit
* Experience working within quality management systems and identifying improvements
