Young Norwood is a young professional network for 18-35-year olds, providing support for career development and inspiring the next generation to make a difference in the community. YN members can build personal connections, network with leading industry professionals, attend mentorship, business and social events, and play a larger part in Norwood’s life-changing work.
The Young Norwood Community Fundraiser is responsible for the implementation of the new YN development plans, connecting, leading and inspiring new young supporters through their journey with Norwood. Delivering the operational and commercial objectives, financial targets, and YN membership growth across the local, voluntary and business communities.
Some of the main Responsibilities:
Be the lead point of contact that works directly with the Head of Community Engagement to lead and implement the Young Norwood development plans across the community.
Responsible for the delivery of the YN fundraising income and patronage targets.
Build excellent working relationships with YN chairs, patrons, committees and YN supporters, utilising their support and guidance for future plans and activity.
Drive a social media strategy to increase presence across platforms with marketing colleagues and/or external providers, with a focus on YN audience.
Essential Requirements:
Experience of working in a fundraising environment
Proven experience of meeting financial targets and managing budgets
Experience of meeting deadlines
Experience in working towards and delivering strategic objectives
Knowledge of the Jewish community
