Financial Accountant

SF Recruitment are supporting a market leading consumer service driven business with double-digit first quarter growth in 2021 in the recruitment of an exciting Financial Accountant position. Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager and supporting wider finance team in ensuring all internal and external financial reporting requirements are achieved. The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have demonstrable experience is a fast paced, changing environment.

Key tasks:

- Assisting the financial reporting team ensuring all internal and external financial reporting requirements are achieved to strict deadlines. This includes, but is not limited to: Weekly cash reporting,
balance sheet reconciliations, Preparation of the Group Annual Report, Statutory accounts, Tax computations and VAT returns.
- Assisting external auditors process
- Assisting in the assessment and application of accounting standards
- Assist in the development of controls and procedures
- Ensure relevant documentation is filed and stored appropriately
