Drug Safety Case Review Lead
North West England
GBP50-60K
If you've got experience in a medical role in pharmacovigilance and a degree in medicine, we'd love to hear from you. Our client is a well-respected company with a fantastic reputation as an employer and is looking for a Drug Safety Case Review Lead to join them.
You'd be working for a very well established, global business recognised as a leader in their field. This is not a vast faceless top five pharma, rather they're a niche, incredibly ethical company with genuine differentiators that underline their commitment to patients, holistic ethical conduct and focus on full lifecycle product development.
This role would be supporting the Global Pharmacovigilance Team and report to the Head of Global Pharmacovigilance Operations. You'd be responsible for providing case reviews of safety reports, working with Third Party Service Providers and contributing to the oversight of case management.
Activities of the role include:
Oversight of Case Management activities
Leading Case Management Team Meetings
Communicating issues with case safety assessments to internal and external stakeholders
Handling Safety Reports
Determining the need for reporting to Regulatory agencies
Managing relationship with Pharmacovigilance service providers
Participation in audits and inspections when required
Key requirements of the role include:
Previous experience in a Drug Safety Case Review role
A Medicine Degree
Medical expertise: performing medical assessments and medical writing/evaluation
Experience in a Medical role in Pharmacovigilance
Knowledge of and demonstrable use of Medicinal Dictionaries
Managing cases into safety databases
Strong IT Skills and experience using Regulatory databases
Whilst this company is extremely well established, it is worth noting that there's a genuine sense of collaboration and engagement across the whole business. You'll be recognised, valued and you'll feel part of something important. There's a culture of investment in people and development that is really evident and tangible.
If this sounds interesting and you meet the requirements of the role, we'd love to hear from you.
