Is retail your forte? Then this is a great opportunity to join Norwood trading department as a Retail Assistant!

You must be able to travel across our stores based in Stanmore, Southgate, and Borehamwood
As the Seasonal Retail Temp, working both alongside and in the absence of the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the store - we expect you to manage your store as if it were your own business.

Some of the main responsibilities:
1. Drive sales and maximise profit – To be responsible for identifying opportunities to increase the stores contribution. From ensuring you implement company layout and merchandising to a high standard, to analysing your reports. You will be accountable for the success of your branch. Conducting daily floor walks, delegating effectively, staying aware of competitor activity and communicate trade feedback to head office.
2. Connect with our customers – To ensure every customer receives a top class shopping experience. Lead by example, motivate your team to give genuine service to our customers and encourage them to maximise opportunities to up sell across all areas of the store, giving all customers a reason to return.
3. Control costs & manage loss prevention - To drive productivity of your team by effectively managing your payroll, ensuring the right people are booked in the right place at the right time. To ensure your team protects profit by deterring theft through service. To be responsible for ensuring your store is operationally sound with effective stock management controls in place.

You will be required to work across our stores based in Stanmore, Southgate, and Borehamwood

Essential Requirements:
• Experience at Store/Concession retail Assistant
• Proven sales experience in a retail environment
• Delivery of excellent customer service
• Fashion or charity retail background
• Proven experience of working towards targets and KPI’s
