We are currently looking to recruit a Secretary/Administrator to join our team in our Derby based office. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week and is a permanent role. The purpose of the Secretary/Administrator role is to provide a first-class secretarial and administrative support to the Tax team, some of whom are remote workers. The work will involve all aspects of secretarial and administration work and the role reports to the Head of the Department.

Some examples of tasks include diary, meeting and inbox management, administering financial information, including billing, editing and preparing reports and letters as required. This role will manage the Teams digital filing in a virtual filing system.

The ideal candidate will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, and have proven organisational skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. You will possess a commitment to quality and attention to detail. A high level of accuracy is essential, with strong IT skills, including the use of all the Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel. The candidate must also have a background of working in the accountancy or legal sector, although not essential to have a background in taxation.
