Practice / HR Manager
JDI Legal are currently instructed on behalf of a long standing and traditional law firm in Newcastle who are recruiting an experienced Practice Manager.
This is likely to be a full time role and is their first appointment of this nature so its a great opportunity for someone with a proven track record of working in a practice / HR manager role to join a hugely successful business in a management capacity.
This is a traditional firm with over 16 partners and the same amount of support staff and the role is likely to be split between HR function and be the liaison between partners and support staff, Staff and Training, IT liaison, have responsibility for streamlining existing procedures and policies in place and generally adding value. Currently these roles are split amongst the partners, so this appointment will free up more of their time and is very much welcomed.
The ideal person will have a good understanding of legal practices and procedures, have excellent communication skills, confident in reporting to partner level, a good safe pair of hands and generally be a great support to the partners in the running of the business.
Candidates MUST be working in an HR function or practice manager role already and those with CIPD qualifications or HR related qualifications are encouraged to apply.
