The Company:
MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Hetton area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a long term position. MTrec are currently looking for people to start within the next 7 days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period.
The Role:
- Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Understanding technical drawings
- Learning the uses of different types of wood and choosing the right material for the job
- Measuring and marking wood according to technical designs
- Cutting wood on machines or by hand
- Using a variety of hand tools, nail guns and hand saws.
- Handling equipment / tools safely and within guidelines
- Visual quality inspection of finished products
- General warehouse duties if required
The Person:
- Someone with a can do attitude
- Must be flexible with shifts as will be expected to work overtime
- Ideally experience in production
- Physically fit as manual handling is present in the role
