Prospectus is excited to be supporting the a Foundation in their search for a new Marketing and Communications Manager.


The Foundation believes passionately that people living with sight loss should have the same opportunities as anyone else. They strive to ensure London is a city that works for everyone and that avoidable sight loss is prevented and are sector leaders in London, standing up for the rights and freedoms of people living with sight loss. The charity funds organisations providing front-line projects and services across the capital, and works collaboratively through researching, building capacity, funding and advocacy. Please note this role is offered part-time (3 or 4 days a week).The office is located in Central London (Lambeth North) and they will consider flexibility with remote working.

As the new Marketing and Communications Manager you will develop and deliver inspiring marketing and communications that will bring the vision brand, reputation and profile to life with key stakeholders and public audiences. You will contribute to the successful delivery of major integrated campaigns including awareness, fundraising or policy centred projects, ensuring alignment and amplification with all other activities and increase the profile and reach of the Foundation by capitalising on proactive and reactive press and PR opportunities. Supporting the selection of appropriate consultants and freelancers, developing strategies to increase engagement and working closely with the Grants and Impact team to secure content is also important.

To be successful, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail and a creative flair, the ability to interpret and explain complex information and experience of building and maintaining successful relationships, internally and externally and working collaboratively across teams. Experience of overseeing press and PR activities and being able to track and manage diverse strands of work simultaneously, on time and on budget are needed alongside an understanding of and commitment to London's blind and partially sighted people.
