A permanent, full-time Support Team Leader role, specifically working with homelessness, offering GBP25,000 and GBP33,000 per annum.

Description
The key responsibilities of the Support Team Leader will include, but may not be limited to;
Offer high quality support to individuals who have previously been identified as homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless;
Support in a range of settings including large HMO's and street level houses;
Work alongside service users and external agencies to work towards realistic goals, using support / risk plans;
Promote positive change and assist with tenant movement from shared supported accommodation onto independent living;
Manage teams of Support Workers. Profile
The successful candidate must possess the following skillset in order to be considered;
Must have a valid driving license, own vehicle and be willing to travel locally on a daily basis and when required, travel to the head office and other business locations.
Previous experience of working in a similar role with people who have experienced homelessness within the Health and Social Care Sector.
To have good working knowledge of homelessness legislation, welfare benefits and pathways associated with this.
To have experience of working with external link services including, Voluntary sector, drug and alcohol service, police & probation etc.
Previous experience of working in a similar role with people who have experienced complex needs including addiction and mental health, within the Health and Social Care Sector.
An understanding of positive behaviour support and a proven ability to work in a person-centred way.
Experience managing, supervising and motivating staff to deliver person centred care and support.
Lead by example, be a positive role model for teams.
An awareness of how to use rostering systems within the Health and Social Care Sector.
Excellent organisational skills and adaptable working in a fast-paced environment
The ability to negotiate effectively.
Analytical, conflict and problem-solving ability
High standard of verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of GDPR
Good understanding of Equality and Diversity and The Mental Capacity Act
Have had experience of lone working and risk assessment, both formally and informally.Job Offer
