Inventory Controller

I am recruiting for my Swindon based client an Inventory Controller to join a busy team.

As part of the Demand Planning and Inventory Control team you will be responsible for managing inventory levels and replenishment to satisfy customer demands in a fast paced and growing sales company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in continuous development of inventory optimisation tools, processes, and software

• Create analysis, insights, reports, and summaries to the line manager

• Maintain optimum levels of inventory to satisfy customer demands

• Plan, order, track and expedite inventory replenishments with suppliers within lead time and transportation constraints

• Anticipate and recognise potential out of stock situations developing corrective action and preventative action plans

• Communicate inventory positions with key business partners

• Respond promptly and accurately to stock enquiries from Customer Service and Sales

• Participate in and contribute to product, quality, and inventory related meetings

• Maintain key business and master data within Dynamics MRP system

• Liaise with transportation companies on product tracking, prioritisation, and status
