Product Manager

I am recruiting for a Product Manager to join the team in a large construction company in Kent. This exciting role will be responsible for the Product Management of certain portfolios within the business and will be focused on delivering business strategy by maximising value of the portfolio, identifying future opportunities and providing a voice for the company. This exciting role comes with career progression and expansion for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

** Devise a yearly strategy and contribute to the yearly business strategy

** Product Life Cycle Management

** Manage the launch of new products within your portfolio

** Conducting regular portfolio analysis - Identifying margin improvement projects, slow moving product strategies and identifying end of lifecycle products

** Set and view market price for product portfolio based on value and competition benchmarking

** Conduct regular market research

** Define and understand the customer base, conducting research to understand needs

** Manage NPD process from product spec to launch item, setting development schedules

** Becoming a product expert for your product categories

** Be the product spokesperson in external comms activities

What we need from you:

** 5 years experience in a similar role - preferable within the construction industry or B2B

** The ability to demonstrate project management ability

** Excellent numerical and analytical skills

** Strong commercial awareness

** Ability to communicate with all levels

** Can work to tight deadlines and strong organisation skills

** Has great initiative
