You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team environment and be comfortable with communicating clearly and efficiently throughout varying levels of both the customer and our businesses.
You will be a strong and confident team player with experience of selling services into the telecommunications services sector. Ideally, you are, or have recently been, in a similar role selling to the Telecoms, Media and Technology sector and as a result, you already have established working relationships with this sector. Working for a multi-national corporation where co-operation across the wider Group is expected, you should be familiar with and committed to usage of industry standard CRM systems and will have successfully delivered results in a target driven environment, carrying targets over GBP6-8M per annum.
You are a self-motivated, driven, methodical and enthusiastic individual - your sales experience will include either management of a specific key account, perhaps transnationally, with skills in the associated disciplines, or in finding and winning major deals, typically in excess of GBP1M, with clear understanding of the sales process associated with complex solution based sales. In either case you will have demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed demanding targets.
This position can be based in the M4 corridor
Your role
Responsibilities:
* Leading the development of Capgemini Engineering's business within one or more key TMT accounts within the UK and delivering national input into applicable global account teams.
* Growing the sales and profitability of our business in the wider UK telecommunications sector, laying the foundations for long-term business partnership in co-operation with Capgemini Engineering's network of Global Account Managers, for the full range of our offers in this Sector. This includes identification of addressable new business areas, development of the commercial case to support any investment to win the opportunities, driving of the sales process to success.
* Influencing and networking with current and prospective Clients to build relationships at senior levels, and identify business needs to address.
* Working with the wider Sector Group team as needed, to understand, influence and implement Sector plans and achieve Sector targets
* Taking responsibility for analysing and forecasting new business, and revenues in relation to the assigned territory, creating initiatives and promotions that support both the long term client relationship as well as achieving Capgemini corporate objectives.
* Leading by example the sales activity in the Sector, overseeing the appropriate use of sales process and tools, and working with senior members of the delivery organization to ensure a successful project launch, and beyond into successful delivery as needed.
* Weekly reporting of pipeline development and progress, to drive forward the new initiatives
Your profile
Qualifications and skills:
* Demonstrable sales experience in UK's mobile telecommunications sector with an understanding of industry trends and challenges
* Your proven sales experience will include either management of a key account with skills in the associated disciplines or in finding and winning major deals, typically in excess of GBP1M, with clear understanding of sales process associated with complex solution based sales
* Uphold an appreciation of network technologies within the mobile and fixed network environment.
* Ability to conform to the following:
* Translate business needs into potential solutions, leading the internal and external sales process from start to finish
* Understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations, to define an end to end strategy from need identification to successful completion of the sale.
* Estimate the financial impact of an opportunity, both with the client and internally
* Deal with contract negotiations with the client.
* Travel nationally on a regular basis and on occasion internationally
