Planning & Supply Chain Coordinator

Based in a modern, BRC accredited facility, the business work with some of the biggest and most progressive names in grocery retail, wholesale, and convenience stores.

The Planning & Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for producing the weekly production and material requirement plans for the factory whilst considering customer demand, raw material availability and lead times as well as distribution.
Key duties:
* Liaise with NAMs to discuss forward planning, forecast models and factory capacity.
* Manage all stock and distribution to all 3rd party hauliers, monitoring daily sales and deliveries to customer depots.
* Maintain and develop internal stock and planning systems to ensure accuracy, efficient purchasing and maintain a high service level to all customers.
* Work closely with the stock team to reduce waste and implement an effective stock management solution.
* Close liaison with warehouse personnel for booking in raw materials, distribution of finished goods and warehouse space availability.
Your experience
To be considered for the Planning & Supply Chain Coordinator job, you will possess solid production planning/supply chain experience within a food manufacturing environment together with stock management and purchasing working knowledge.
However, the company would also consider a graduate with a supply chain/ production planning related degree and looking for their first supply chain job. A completed industrial placement or post-grad experience would be a benefit.
You will understand the food manufacturing end-to-end supply chain including warehousing and logistics plus be able to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills are also required, together with advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.

The Planning & Supply Chain Coordinator job is based in the North West region and is paying a competitive salary according to experience.
The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
