REED HR are exclusively working alongside our valued Kendal client to appoint for a temporary HR Advisor to join the business during a critical period of time. The role will initially be for a 3 month period however may be extended dependant on caseload.
The role will be working remotely however you will be required to attend staff HR briefing once every 2 weeks in Kendal.
To coach and support managers in managing and improving the performance of individuals and teams, considering values, behaviours and the high performance culture; to support change and help managers to embed change in their teams and to provide a comprehensive HR and employee relations service to the Authority that contributes to the delivery of the strategy.
The role will be full time (however if you are looking for part time and can commit for longer than 3 months, we would still love to hear from you).
The role is working for a fabulous organisation who are going through exciting times and the summer season is always busy. You will join a very well established & supportive HR team.
Duties will include -
- Undertake specific project work as requested by the HR Manager and Organisational Development to contribute to the delivery of HR, People and Organisational Development strategies.
- Provide generalist employee relations advice and guidance to managers with particular respect to disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management to complex levels; coaching managers and helping them to ensure acceptable levels of individual employee performance. Manage case work and support line managers to embed policy and practice. Manage the Occupational Health provision and co-ordinate access to well-being resources and implementation of professional recommendations.
- Provide HR advisory input into area projects, change management projects and working groups as required, support delivery and help to ensure change is embedded
