Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Summary of Role:
An opportunity to join our growing team, in an exciting company that is growing year on year!
This role sits within Shorterm's internal IT Team. This role is a combination of user support and network administration. As the IT Team is small in size all members of the team must be able to deal with a range of support needs from infrastructure to application support.
Role Description and Responsibilities:
* Provide hardware and software user support
* Perform installation and physical moves of equipment as required
* Provide on-going applications support and administration for business critical applications
* Undertake on-going network infrastructure administration tasks and performance monitoring
* Ensure that all Shorterm data is fully protected from cyber and virus attack at all times and fully backed up on a daily basis.
* Administer network security and Internet / email content filtering applications to ensure network security is maintained at all times.
* Undertake necessary hardware and software installation and configuration as required.
* Ensure that all disaster recovery arrangements are working effectively at all times
Skills Required:
* MS Windows Server 2016 - AD, DNS, DHCP, GPMC
* MS Windows 10 Professional and MS Office 2016 / Office 365
* MS Exchange 2016
* LAN / WAN / VPN / MPLS experience
* MS SQL Server 2016 administration

Candidate Profile:
Minimum 1 - 2 years commercial IT experience working in a medium sized organisation in an IT support role. Needs to be keen to learn and be willing to get involved in all aspects of delivering our IT service. Needs to have a 'can do' attitude. Needs to have own car and be able to travel between Shorterm's offices throughout the UK on an as needed basis.
Salary:
Will be offered based on experience and relevance to the role.
