This is a Permanent, Full Time Position

Salary - GBP25,000 per Annum

The Position:

Our Town Manager will oversee the smooth day to day running of our two Newquay venues, one of which is an Adult gaming centre and the other has a family entertainment centre incorporated. The Town Manager will be responsible for ensuring the venues are well presented, exceeding targets and delivering a world class customer service.

Hours and Shifts:

A permanent contract of 40 hours over 5 days

Your Duties:

* Maximise profit and grow the business

* Be fully accountable for the store's performance

* Drive a culture of exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business

* Drive all new products and promotions

* Ensure excellent store presentation, cleanliness and hygiene

* Effectively manage the team within the company policies and procedures

* Ensure the team are fully trained

The Candidate:

Ideally, you will have previous management experience in a customer-facing role and will have had experience managing across multiple venues. We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing and able to take on a challenge. You will have a professional, customer-focused approach and a can-do attitude. You will need to undergo a basic DBS (Criminal Record) check as part of this role. The company will reimburse the cost of the check.

What you can expect:

Working at one of our flagship venues, we deliver aim to deliver excellent levels of customer service to an astonishingly high number of customers who visit our Adult Gaming Centre, or our Family Entertainment Centre. With this, you can expect the following:

* No holidays can be permitted during school holidays.

* Weekend working will be required throughout the year.

* Bank holiday working is required

* One early start per week (6 am)

* Minimum one closing shift to be worked per week, up to 11 PM.

The ideal candidate will be:

* Computer literate, particularly excel and email

* Numerate

* Industry experience preferred

* Clean DBS (formerly CRB) check required

* People management skills essential

* Industry experience an advantage
