Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards to this permanent position.
Role and responsibilities
Working within the aftersales team your primary responsibility is to grow the sale of parts and services to trade customers. Prospect for new clients and revive dormant accounts. Achieve sales and activity targets set out by the company by networking, making phone calls and holding face to face meetings. Ensuring they receive the best possible service from the aftersales department. This includes (but not restricted to) being the first point of contact both face to face and electronically, developing a good rapport with potential clients to support them with their needs. Stay abreast of new products and parts in the marketplace. Responsible for carrying out all tasks and duties in line with company policies and procedures and accountable for making sure all company standards in terms of health & safety and quality are met.
Daily duties
* Answer and respond to incoming customer enquiries received via the website or office phone line as promptly as possible.
* Identify and generate trade customer leads.
* Advice trade customers on the company's products and available parts.
* Produce accurate quotes for potential customers.
* Upsell additional products to meet departmental and individual sales targets.
* Maintain a high level of customer service.
* Make sure the correct level of information is gathered at the point of sale so customer expectations are met.
* Be an accessible point of contact for customers, providing regular, accurate and timely updates on orders and available stock.
* Efficiently keep in regular contact with new prospects/customers
* Maintain accurate records in the company's customer database.
* Keep working area clean & tidy.
* Continuous improvement of company practices.
* Maintain the brand and values.
* Understand and keep up to date with developments and new products.
* Attend relevant events and trade shows.
Skills / Qualifications
Be customer facing and have good presentation / communication skills.
Previous experience in a customer facing roll and the desire to uphold a high level of customer service.
Good understanding of vehicles and vehicle parts.
Be sales driven and have the enthusiasm to push sales through a consultative sell.
Have a good level of IT & computer skills.
Must be flexible.
Have good attention to detail.
Understand or have the enthusiasm to learn about the company's products and relevant marketplace.
Have the skills to research organisations and individuals online (using social media) to identify new leads.
Can handle pressure and meet targets.
Hours of work: 40 hour per week - Monday - Friday week 1 then Tuesday - Saturday week 2
