Our client is a newly relaunched airline that everyione will know and they require a contrtacting or fixed term Airport IT Systems Manager who will be responsible for the company network, ensuring maximum efficiency ordination of selected Passenger Service System (PSS) provider for operational usage across the airline.

Reporting directly to the Director of Airports, Cargo, Facilities & IT you will be responsible for optimising operational performance through effective and efficient use of a range of systems, using data to monitor and drive performance.

You will have full contractual management of all associated budget costs for PSS provider contracts including performance review meetings. Although there are no direct reports you will be required to consult and liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders over matters such as contract negotiation and manage a diverse range of accounts with different commercial and operational system providers.

Summary of responsibilities/deliverables for the Airport IT Systems Manager

* Conducting reviews of Ground Operations systems, in conjunction with commercial and delivering required solutions to partners and service providers to support delivery of an optimal customer experience

* Supporting the management of company safety and compliance risk levels being reduced to appropriate levels through effective systems

* Influencing and negotiating the procurement of commercial and marketing contracts across Ground Operations

Qualifications, Training and Skills for the Airport IT Systems Manager

• Knowledge of Aviation industry, specifically Airline operations.

* Expert knowledge, awareness of full passenger/booking processes.

• Experience of effectively working with PSS providers systems and applications

• Demonstrate knowledge of associated operational systems and their application within an airline.

• Demonstrates flexibility, versatility, pro-active and being dynamic in previous roles

Applications required URGENTLY as interviews and appointment will commence immediately. This will initially be a 6-9 months Fixed term contract or GBPdaily rate with the chance of going permanent
