Due to the ongoing success of Essential Employment, we are now recruiting for a compliance and staffing support officer to assist our busy team of recruiters.
Initially based in our Blackburn office with a view to relocating to Wheelton, Chorley in the next few months.
We are seeking applicants who are enthusiastic, outgoing, organised and hard working with a can do attitude to help us deliver our dedicated service at Essential Employment.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, alongside fantastic organisational and administrative skills. This role will touch many parts of our business and you must be adaptable and willing to move out of your comfort zone.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Business Support
Ensure any incoming telephone calls, emails and post you receive are actioned, recorded on the CRM system, if necessary, and passed onto the appropriate person.
Record personnel files for candidates on CRM system in accordance with company guidelines.
Uploading cv's to the CRM if necessary
Other ad hoc office duties - such as responding to reference requests and answering candidate queries
Compliance
Candidate compliance related tasks/administrative duties such as collating a candidates file for recruiters
Work with and support the recruitment consultants to ensure that each candidate is compliant to strict guidelines including obtaining references, processing DBS applications, verifying documents and assisting in candidate registrations.
Carrying out security checks associated with placing candidates into work e.g, DBS update service check
Assisting the business to go paperless - scanning paperwork into digital formats and storing securely on server and
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Experience in a compliance role
An exceptional attention to detail
Good negotiation skills
Excellent time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be expected to deliver a professional service to internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated to exceed the role objectives and contribute to the general office environment
