Academics are recruiting on behalf of a brand new school which is opening in September 2021 in Southampton.
The school will cater for mixed pupils aged between 7 - 16 years with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school has capacity for up to 60 pupils.
They are looking to appoint a Maths Lead on a full-time, permanent basis. They are happy to consider both long term supply/temp to perm options aswell as direct permanent placements.
The suitable candidate must have UK QTS, with 2-3 years experience minimum of delivering Maths to GCSE level. This is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their teaching career and lead a brand new Maths Department.
Although having experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour or in an SEN/SEMH school would be an advantage, this is not essential. You will be supported by a team of highly experienced SEMH teachers and support staff. Training will also be provided.
If you are an experienced Maths teacher looking for career progression and a passion for working with pupils who need additional support and encouragement and you would like to find out more about this position, please apply using the link and remember to include a copy of your up to date CV
