As an Assembly Supervisor, you will support management in implementing, maintaining process and production improvements to enhance the production capabilities, output and, critically, the quality of our product into the market. This will be a working supervisor role and as such you will also be required to undertake production operative duties as required. You will be also responsible for personal and general factory health and safety in line with the company health and safety policy outlined in the Company Handbook.
This role is based in Glasgow 10 min away from the city centre.
Shifts Available:
D/S & B/S - rotational shift pattern
Pay Rate:
GBP15.00ph + shift allowance
Daily Duties:
Organise and set up work areas for specific jobs.
Allocate jobs to operators and record rotation.
Ensure all personnel have a sound working understanding of each of the functions that they are required to undertake.
Ensure all staff work to the processes and procedures relating to the assembly operation.
Ensure that products are being assembled and packed correctly in accordance with control documentation and inspection criteria.
Ensure a high standard of general housekeeping is maintained
Cover supervisory duties in other departments where required.
Demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of the Business Information Management system, CIMPAC
Ensure that Stock corrections and ASK request clear downs are carried out daily.
Maintain and improve effective working relationships with other departments.
Monitor staff performance levels, including output and working methods, providing feedback to management to identify improvement opportunities.
Routinely revisit systems and procedures and make recommendations for improvement to management.
Carry out Return to Work interviews where staff have been absent.
