Tradewind are recruiting! Are you the Learning Support Assistant we are looking for?
On behalf of one of our Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) Secondary school in the Wirral, we are on the lookout for a Learning Support Assistant to join a highly dedicated team. The role will commence in September, starting at the beginning of the next academic year and will be a full-time, long-term post with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff.
The successful candidate will be joining an Ofsted rated 'Good' school which has the primary objective to promote positive changes in children's lives. The school values experiences that develop personal and academic advancement of the pupils. This vibrant inclusive school celebrates and promotes equality, providing a supportive and nurturing environment for all students and staff alike.
This SEMH Secondary school in the Wirral are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can encourage academic success as well as developing the characteristics and qualities to allow the students to become active members of society.
The successful candidate will be:
Resilient and positive, showing initiative and flexibility;
Be able to work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher;
Confident with supporting children with additional needs;
Firm, consistent and fun;
Approachable, patient and understanding;Desirable:
Team Teach trained;
Experience working with SEMH needs;
Experience working with challenging behaviour;To be considered you must:
This position is subject to Enhanced DBS, Overseas police check (if applicable) and satisfactory references;
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
