MULTI- SKILLED ENGINEER
DAY SHIFT ONLY! MONDA Y TO FRIDAY - NO NIGHTSHIFTS or CALL OUTS. We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Engineer in Corby, Northamptonshire area for our world leading manufactures of innovative plastic packaging solutions.
TITLE: MULTI SKILLED ENGINEER
SALARY: GBP15ph - GBP16.50ph [D.O.E.]
BENEFITS: Excellent Benefit package, 28 days Holiday, Free Parking,
LOCATION: CORBY Northamptonshire easy links from Kettering, Wellingborough, Raunds, Rushden, Peterborough
DURATION: Temporary
HOURS: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm [paid 40 hours]
START DATE: Immediate
As the Multi Skilled Engineer you will be working as part of a small experienced Engineering team carrying out breakdowns repairs, PPM and improvements to a wide range of production machines-extruders, forming machines, print and labelling machines.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain all equipment as required to acceptable standards.
Provide maintenance cover on all production equipment.
Maintain work area, workshop and stores areas to BRC standards.
Liaise with other area of the business as required.
Responsible for developing and improving asset reliability and efficiency
Exercise control over the standards of repairs and maintenance
Work with other departments to identify and carry out Continuous Improvement activities.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures including those for Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene.
Work safely and remain aware of your own personal responsibility for your own safety and that of others.
Person Specification
Must be technically proficient with strong electrical and mechanical skills.
Carry out PPM and breakdown repairs effectively
Demonstrate a flexible, hands-on result orientated approach.
Possess continuous improvement and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to interpret documentation in English Language.
Able to work alone and complete tasks left.
Experience in food FMCG or equivalent process industry.
