A really exciting opportunity in Cambridgeshire (near Ely) for a Network Engineer to join a 5 person network team and get involved in some very meaty network/infrastructure projects. The team needs to grow in order to cope with the new projects based around UK wide WiFi Roll-outs, SD-Wan refreshing and the ongoing challenge of delivering network/infrastructure solutions to a growing and ever changing business model.
With a pipeline of exhilarating and stimulating projects along with the day-to-day infrastructure challenges, the continuous improvement programme contributes to the success of the company's infrastructure roadmap.
The client, a food producer and food distributor, is looking for a personable individual who will fit in well with the existing team and also someone that has demonstrable skills & knowledge of WiFi, SD-WAN and Cloud. They also require the person to have a knowledge of delivering successful solutions within the network/infrastructure arena.
Within a Microsoft Azure Networking environment, the technical skillset should include knowledge of Firewalls, Load Balancers, Network Switches, Routers, Wireless Access Points, LAN, WAN circuits, SD-WAN, Hyper-V, Aruba, Cisco & IP Addressing.
