The Company:
Kammac is a flexible and reliable third-party logistics (3PL) provider with strong family values.
Role Overview:
As a result of business growth, we are currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers (newly qualified drivers are welcome) to be part of a strong team providing an excellent delivery service to be proud of. The roles are based out of our Distribution Centre in Skelmersdale, driving to multiple locations across the UK. Kammac are offering full time or part time permanent work with start times to suit, eg Monday to Friday Day Work, Night Work.

The successful candidates will be self-motivated, with previous driving experience, and who work well together as Kammac strongly values a team player approach. Kammac prides itself on employing people who make a difference so a proven ability and desire to produce great quality results will be key.
Key Responsibilities:
?? Accurate and safe delivery of customer product within the specified delivery area
?? Regular liaison with the Transport Office to report and update any challenges, reportable matters and completion of run
?? Undertake general haulage delivery, collection or trunking as required
?? Record deliveries and follow specific instructions for each customer site
?? Maintain good working order of Kammac vehicles and any equipment on board, ensuring that any service requirements are reported as they occur
?? Complete daily vehicle checks
?? Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times and that Health & Safety Policies are adhered to
?? Drive within the EU rules and regulations, ensuring all legal requirements are maintained. This includes but not limited to:
?? Taking sufficient breaks and daily/ weekly rests
?? Remaining compliant with regards to daily/ weekly driving hours
?? Recording manual entries accurately
?? Using the correct modes on the Taco head for the activities being carried out
?? Declaring all information on the timesheets accurately and in full
?? Carrying out comprehensive vehicle pre use checks and reporting any defects found
?? Ensuring vehicle cleanliness at all times
?? Keeping up to date and comply with the highway code
?? Ensure every load is sufficiently secure

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
?? Class 1 Driving Licence
?? No more than 6 points on licence
?? Digi-Card
?? CPC Required
?? The successful candidates will also drive to the highest standards putting the safety of themselves and other road users at the forefront of their driving actions
?? Must adopt a flexible approach to working
