Daytime Healthcare is offering a great opportunity for Senior Children's Residential Support Worker's to join a friendly care provider in Newcastle-under-Lyme
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be expected to provide good care and a therapeutic environment to help the children in the service progress. The role will require you to manage the home effectively when the home manager is absent. In this role, you will need to communicate effectively with the children and young people as you may need to record some features, this will include listening, speaking and engaging in conversations.
Requirements:
* You are expected to have an education at GCSE level or equivalent.
* You must have 2 years experience in the role of a residential care setting.
* Experience working with children or young people in a Care or Education setting.
* You should be able to work flexible to meet the needs of the service.
* Further education in NVQ 3 or Level 3 QCF in Caring for Children and Young people Diploma or equivalent
