HR Assistant:

We are currently recruiting for a Permanent HR Assistant based in Lichfield, Fradley Park.
The ideal candidate must have good computer based skills and be competent in: excel, word and PowerPoint and will be able to demonstrate excellent office skills.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities will include:
  • To provide telephone and face to face advice and support to all Managers / employees within the business on a wide range of HR issues and or matters escalating to the HR Manger. .
  • Support the HR manager & Senior manager in the delivery of HR related training as and when required.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining employee databases and responding to emails for the HR department .
  • To maintain comprehensive employee personnel records within a busy office setting.
  • Support Managers with note taking at investigations and formal meetings.
  • To update and maintain HR systems, tracker documents and spreadsheets.
  • Updating company staff handbook ensuring it is relevant and up to date.
  • Co-ordinate HR Projects such as training, surveys etc
  • Provide 1st level support/advice on family friendly policies eg maternity, paternity, shared parental leave.
  • Responsible for the co -ordination of and the undertaking of drug and alcohol testing as and when required.
  • To track, identify and co- ordinate all occupational health assessments relating to new starters, drivers and night workers.
  • To co-ordinate, monitor and review occupational health referral and assessments as and when required and escalate if necessary.
  • To coordinate/deliver monthly group new starter inductions, held at the UK Head Office as and when required.
  • To track, co-ordinate and process agendas and invites for company induction in a timely manner to all those involved. Working alongside the HR administrator where applicable.
