Key Responsibilities
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project User Co-Ordinator to join the team. This permanent position is a hands-on project role that will contribute to testing and on-going support for users and is suited to an individual with operational, logistics and systems knowledge.
Key responsibilities of the role will be:
* Create documentation of the to-be business scenarios, including business processes where required, related to transport operations
* Help users to articulate operational standards, methods, tools and best practices
* Work as part of the project team alongside users and vendors to design, test and implement the planning and execution related aspects of but not limited to a TMS solution
* Serve as a domain expert, possessing in-depth knowledge of all aspects of transport processes
Qualifications and skills
?? Familiar with general haulage operations and the distribution sector in general. Experience in Transport Planner role advantageous.
?? Project implementation support experience
?? Experience of Microsoft Office package, including Word and Excel
It would be nice to have:
?? Knowledge of business process modelling, lean techniques, AGILE methods and transport software systems
?? Experience of using various transport management packages for planning and execution e.g. Mandata
?? Supporting a team in delivery of projects
?? Experience of using a transport optimization system
