Warehouse / Stores Person

A small family run business that has been trading for 40 years is now experiencing huge growth, so they're looking for an experienced warehouse person to take ownership of their stores area and help improve their current processes.

This is one of those rare opportunities where the role starts small, but it genuinely has potential to grow to a position where you will eventually manage a team in a much larger warehouse.

You will also work on a mechanical assembly line, putting together their in-house designed products that have been outsourced for manufacture.

Granted that this is a mid - to long term career prospect, but for the right person this could be a chance of a lifetime.

The company designs and assembles electro-mechanical equipment to a range of businesses all across the UK. Their customer base was in the beverage industry, but due to the pandemic they have had to diversify, which has led to the company experiencing unprecedented growth.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience of working in a busy warehouse, ideally with a FLT license (although they will pay for the right person to train on a fork lift so having a license isn't essential). If you have experience using hand tools, this will also be an advantage, although it's warehouse experience that's most important.
