Sales Consultant

Due to the continued growth and development of our iconic furniture brand, dwell are now looking for a confident and energetic Sales Consultant to join our fantastic store in Thurrock, Essex.

Our store in Thurrock is located on the Lakeside Retail Park , in Thurrock, the store is a lively and diverse environment with a very healthy footfall. This role offers you the opportunity to work as part of a team of to deliver exceptional customer service and build relationships with our customers.

About the Sales Consultant role:

You will ensure that every customer that visits our store has an exceptional experience and leaves delighted. You don't need to have retail experience as we will give you that but you will need to be passionate about building relationships with customers and share their enthusiasm, energy and passion for our products and brand.

An interest in furniture and experience would be great but we are more interested in individuals who have a background in a customer facing and sales based role and positive attitude and approach.

This is a full time role which includes working weekends.

Key duties and responsibilities of our Sales Consultant:

- Deliver personal targets, executing a clear plan and achieving your goals

- Grow your sales, challenge yourself to exceed all store and personal targets

- Build your customer network, liaise with your colleagues and forge relationships

- Live and breathe the dwell culture and values with an open and honest approach to sales

- Embrace "The Customer Promise", make decisions and always do the right thing putting the Customer Promise at the heart of everything you do

- Actively develop your skills and product knowledge through the Aspire programme & graduation, completion of LMS modules and in-store learning and development

- Take ownership and demonstrate the highest level of customer experience

- Take ownership of any delegated tasks and carry out to set timelines

- Occasional travel including some overnight stays as required by the business may be required

What are we looking for in our Sales Consultant?

- A minimum of one years' experience working in a fast-paced sales and customer experience environment.

- Experienced in working to targets and KPIs

- Understands the working patterns of retail sales.

- Experience of working together to achieve goals both personal

- Previous sales experience in a retail environment is desirable
