Maintenance Operative

I am currently looking for a Maintenance Operative to work for one of the fastest-growing maintenance teams in the UK within the retail and distribution sector. This is a mobile role covering a number of buildings, so ideal for someone who is happy travelling to the same place of work on a daily basis. This is a temporary position, so ideal for someone looking for something over the coming months. There is a good chance this could also go permanent.

The hourly rate of pay is GBP10.79/hour PAYE working 40 hours per week. There will be opportunity for weekend and evening work should you wish to earn more money throughout the year. The Maintenance Operative will be responsible for all of the reactive and planned maintenance within the building, this could include basic elements of plumbing, carpentry, painting and any other general fabric maintenance work. The planned maintenance will include testing of fire alarms, generators, testing for legionella and emergency light testing. Full training will be given on this.
