Quill (is now Jellyfish) is looking for writers to produce copy for a leading online supplier of electronic equipment and engineering tools.
We've been tasked with creating helpful, clear and concise product descriptions to empower customers to find the right components for their project.
We will be producing copy for various suppliers that feature on the client's website. This means there will be several client briefs to adapt to, each with slightly different editorial requirements.
Project details
This project involves writing product descriptions (180 words in length). You'll work on 8-15 master product descriptions per batch.
Batches will be allocated weekly, and there will be a low volume training batch in June, with weekly batches to follow from July through to November. You will need to be available to complete work throughout this period.
We're looking for creators who are available for an immediate start, ideally mid-late June or early July.
This project is due to start in June and will be ongoing throughout 2021.

- You have excellent desktop research skills, a flair for fact-checking
- Having a genuine interest in engineering and electronics is a welcome bonus
- You have the ability to understand and adhere to a precise brief
- You have proven experience in localisation, copywriting, or editing
