We're hiring!  Due to continued growth and our increasing efforts in testing market conditions we are expanding our lettings department, which means that we have a very exciting opportunity to join our team.

We are looking for a Property Manager/Lettings Assistant, some experience preferable but not necessary. Ideally you will have an understanding and/or interest in Lettings and looking to pursue a long term career in this field. If you do not have prior property experience then we will be looking for transferable skills that are applicable to the role. 

Day to day the role will be split between office administration and also being out and about at the properties we manage and are marketing so a full driving license is essential. Pool cars are provide for staff over 21 only. 

Full training will be provided along with support and development within the role including any relevant qualifications needed when for the regulation of property agents (ROPA).

Responsibilities and duties will vary day to day and no one day is the same! Task will include but not be limited to:

• Answering phone calls + emails – dealing with current tenant and landlord queries. Dealing with enquiries & qualifying applicants where needed
• Promote and show properties to prospective tenants
• Support with all office administrative tasks including managing the property record archives
• Support with block management tasks
• Ensure properties are ready for new occupants
• Maintain property records, book in any testing needed and manage certificates.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Enforce terms of rental agreements
• Monitor and complete maintenance and repairs, liaise with tenants, Landlords and contractors and complete in a timely and cost effective manner
• Organize and implement inspections, prepare reports and send feedback to landlords and tenants
• Use our software system to manage tenancies, maintenance reports, record keeping, key holding and Mypropertyfile system 


The successful candidate must be reliable, trustworthy, organised, resourceful, have excellent attention to detail, communication, customer service skills and enjoy working in a busy team environment.
