The Role:

A vacancy has arisen in our Customer Care team for an experienced Customer Services Advisor. Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, the main roles and responsibilities for this role are to:

  • Be responsible for properties from practical completion through to the end of warranty process
  • Keep internal teams up to date on potential and current developments and ensuring information is up to date on all internal systems
  • Support the implementation of quality assurance processes on new developments
  • Lead on collecting customer satisfaction information across all developments and in turn identifying areas of service improvement.
  • Oversee communications coming into the teams; phones, e-mails, social media etc. in relation to customer enquiries
  • Provide support / co-ordination on a variety of projects. This will include gaining an understanding of the subject matter and key action points in advance of the meeting
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure that the they understand and implement hand over processes in line with the Trust’s needs
  • Be the Customer Care point of contact for purchasers, liaising on pre completion defects, scheduling appointments and liaising with contractors
  • Arrange end of defects inspections, works, and back checks. Liaising with customers and contractors and managing performance
  • Stay up-to-date on all NHBC or equivalent insurance policies
  • Ensure compliance documentation is processed and stored in accordance with regulations. Work with the repairs team to ensure this is completed in a timely manner

The Person:

The successful candidate will have the following;

  • A strong command of MS Office, excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Customer Service experience, ideally within housing / construction
  • Ability to problem solve and effective decision making
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload and to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of the development process and the compliance elements is preferred
  • Experience of working with NHBC or equivalent
  • Experience of working within or alongside a development team is preferred

A driving licence and access to a car is a preferable for this role
