Barker Munro Recruitment are delighted to be working this massively successful insurance company who are currently looking to fill the role of Personal Injury Claims Handler in Manchester.
Responsibilities of the Personal Injury Claims Handlers:
* Deal with personal injury claims through to completion
* Make decisions on liability and agree quantum with third party companies
* Ensure files are reserved accurately
* Process cheques on claims files as required
* Promptly identify potential fraudulent claims and other claims that require referral
* Conduct detailed and compliant telephone interviews with customers in the relation to their claim
* Maintain specialist knowledge and constantly improve understanding of technical issues relating to personal injury claims
Essential Skills:
* Have a good understanding of liability
* 2-5 years personal injury claims experience
* Be able to manage customers expectations and advise them when they are at fault
* Liability negotiation skills
* Experience with a motor insurance company or Law Firm
* Solid understanding or personal injury claims procedures
Package:
* Salary in region of GBP24,000 - GBP28,000
* Benefits Package including generous holiday and pension
* Bonus based on performance
