My Client are a successful Chartered firm of Independent Financial planners base din the heart of Bath and due to growth thy seek to add to their IFA Technical support team. In return a competitive salary, benefits and exam support can be offered.

The role provides administrative support to the firm's Financial Advisers, helping them deliver a high quality of service and support to their clients. The successful candidate will work within the Administration team and directly support several advisers, whilst working as part of the team to undertake other administrative duties within the business as needed.

As the business grows and develops, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to undertake more technical aspects of the advice planning and delivery process. To facilitate this the successful candidate should be looking to develop a good technical knowledge within finical services and will have an opportunity to sit CII exams which will be fully supported.

Duties and responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of service to clients by phone, email, and post in a professional, timely and efficient manner.

• Assist with preparing client facing documents including documents for new client business and annual client reviews e.g. Pension illustrations and client portfolio valuations.

• Complete or check adviser business submissions on the back-office system and provider sites ensuring a high level of accuracy and compliance with company processes.

• Assist with the compilation of post application documents and checks ensuring all submissions meet company compliance requirements.

• Work as part of a team to process incoming post, scan documents, filing.

• Communicate with providers, insurers and other 3rd parties by phone, email, and post to obtain policy information and valuations.

• Update and maintain the accuracy of data held on back-office systems.

Skills and experience required

• Good knowledge of financial services, in particularly within the financial adviser arena is an advantage.

• Experience providing administration support.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.

• Comfortable working with various IT packages.

• Some experience of Back Office and CRM systems would be beneficial.

• Willingness to work towards being Level 4 Diploma qualified.
