FCAW Welders (Submarines)
Location - Devonport, Plymouth
Rates of pay:
Umbrella- GBP21.50 per hour
PAYE GBP16.48 + hol pay, 25% uplift for Back/Nighshifts
Indenture Apprenticeship papers required relevant to role or Level 3 Modern Apprenticeship
Structural Welding - thickness of the materials is typically 8mm-24mm
* Ability to use basic gouge and edge preparation through grinding
* Ability to use basic hand tools, guillotines, and band saws.
* Weld processes used on Site on MMA, MIG Flux-core and occasionally TIG in mainly carbon steel and stainless.
