We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our prestigious client in Blackwood.

The HR Advisor will be responsible for providing high-quality generalist HR support and being an active partner in business projects.

Duties:

Updating existing and creating new policies and procedures which reflect Company values, the business environment and legislative requirements.
Clearly communicating policies and procedures to all levels of management.
Provide advice and support to managers and employees on the interpretation of policies and procedures
Keep up to date with employment legislation and highlight any changes that will impact on updating and training Management & employees as appropriate.
Producing guidance documents and hold awareness sessions to help support leaders in people management topics.
Give appropriate HR advice and support (employment law related and/or using Company Policies/Procedures) on key issues such as (list not exhaustive):
Disciplinary and grievance investigations
Performance Management & Development
Reward & Recognition
Capability/ Wellbeing Cases
Absence Management
Succession planning
Change Management
Workforce planning.Recruitment & Selection

Conduct new/replacement headcount assessment, including recruitment discussions with the Management team.
Supporting management with the construction of job descriptions and job adverts
Liaise effectively with internal and external sources to fully draw on the available candidate pool
Support and participate in interviewing candidates
Coordinate employment offers and supporting documentation
Liaise with Learning Partners and Education providers in the recruitment of Apprenticeship and graduate's programmes.Learning & Development

Conduct line management training/workshops on policy and procedures, updated legislation and leadership development.
Conduct new management training for new recruits or for those receiving a leadership promotions.
Develop partnerships with local educational providers to support ongoing employee learning at all levels. Exploring fully and part funded courses and cost down training opportunities.
Health & Wellbeing initiatives
Engage in promoting and monitoring employee health and wellbeing and delivering improvements through appropriate and considered employee initiatives, events and benefits
General HR Administration
Ensure all HR records are accurate and up to date and compliant with GDPR
Provide accurate and timely reports as and when requiredQualification and Experience:

Excellent academic background and/ or CIPD Qualified.
Experience in a generalist capacity ideally within a past faced manufacturing environment
Strong HR Project and Change management experience.
Microsoft Office Packages are essential. SharePoint would be an advantage but not essential.
Ability to work with limited supervision, undertaking the importance of absolute discretion and confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills.IND2
