The Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association are looking for a Data Selections Officer to join our Data and Insights Team at our national office in Northampton, where we operate a trusting, collaborative, and agile working environment.Salary: c.GBP23,000 per annum plus benefitsLocation: Northampton with Agile workingHours: Full time 37 hours per weekContract Type: PermanentAbout the roleThe Data Selections Officer will work with the Selections and Data Analyst to deliver our fundraising and marketing data selection and communication programme. You will work with teams across the association, running multiple, concurrent selections and supporting the design and documentation of existing and new procedures to achieve greater efficiency within the selection and segmentation process.You will provide data support to the Association including resolving incoming data requests, data cleansing, ensuring our data remains GDPR complaint, providing ad-hoc reports and other tasks to support the Data and Insights Team. What are we looking for?You will be driven by data and have a passion to work collaboratively and analytically to produce insightful results. You will have experience of the selections process in the context of fundraising and marketing to ultimately generate the charities income. Your key essential skills will be: Understanding and experience of segmentation concepts and applying them to data setsMicrosoft Excel or Access, including formulas and data manipulation.Highly numerate and literate.Highly accurate work style with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to identify problems and provide effective solutions.Ability to manage several tasks and deadlines concurrently.Ability to work individually and effectively within a team.Understanding of Data Protection regulations to ensure that supporter data is used compliantly and in line with the supporter wishes.
