Purpose of the role
The Installation Engineer will receive full training and development, shadowing experienced field / fibre engineers out in the field. When comfortable you will ultimately work carrying out installations on our FTTH / FTTP network across rural communities within the region. You will also benefit from any other necessary external training certifications and accreditations, with the potential career route into a multi skilled Field Engineer role.
Key Accountability & Responsibilities
* Installation of fibre broadband services to residential and business premises
* Providing a first-class customer experience
* Carrying out underground and overhead installations
* Undertake small civils works
* Will involve working at heights and cable installations into customer's homes
* Responsibility for their own and teams' assurance across Quality and Health & Safety standards
* Ability to overcome and problem solve installation issues
Knowledge & Skills
You do not need previous experience, we are open to applications from a range of backgrounds and from those looking for a career change into a role which involves working outside to help rural communities benefit from better broadband.

* Able to use power tools (drill for internal cabling, etc)

Full driving licence (manual)
Hold or be able to pass a 'Disclosure and Barring Service' (DBS) application
