Engineering Manager required to join our client in Kent.
Due to significant growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client. Throughout 2021 they have seen a huge influx in projects and have been actively recruiting to keep up with the workload.
As the Engineering Manager you will be joining a small, yet rapidly growing business that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of automation and processing equipment that is used in the food and beverage industries.

What is the role?
As the Engineering Manager you will work closely with a variety of team members, this will include but not limited to Sales, Service, and Management.
You will manage the Planning of the Engineering department. You will develop and coordinate engineering works, related schedules and resources, skills, and materials needed to maintain installations and equipment to avoid or minimise disruptions in production.
Some of your duties will include:
* Direct involvement in ongoing projects.
* Collaborate with sales and produce production schedules, identify equipment involved and plan for skills, materials and resources.
* Review plans with the Directors to validate feasibility
* Passionate about quality and best practice whilst driving continuous improvement
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive quality, cost, reliability, and safety performance.
* Ongoing improvement and development of Engineering Standards and Engineering Compliance Policies
What are we looking for?
To be considered for the Engineering Manager position, we are looking for the following:
* Experienced Engineering Manager with a track record of managing projects as well as staff.
* Strong knowledge and experience of working within the Food & Beverage industries.
* Technical understanding of engineering applications, including mechanical and electrical engineering.
* Good knowledge of engineering requirements to estimate costs for labour and costs.
* Driving License required
