Embedded Developer
A leading software development company in Ipswich are currently recruiting for an Embedded Developer due to the continuous growth of the company.
The Role
You will become part of an enthusiastic team, directly involved in the development of their commercial software products for a high-end international media company but also new clients and their own internal projects.
You will be working with a multitude of development platforms, such as Microchip and Cypress solutions as part of the overall Embedded Development team, reporting to the lead Embedded Developer. You will need to have a disciplined approach and demonstrate excellent organisational skills in planning, documenting, and keeping to agreed schedules. Handling and configuring client devices, development boards and reference designs is a key part of the role.
Essential skills
Familiarity with C/C++ is required, and it would be beneficial to have experience with one or more of the following at either a professional or hobby level: Microchip PIC with MPLAB X, Cypress PSoC, Arduino, ESP, or any other embedded/electronics platforms.
Candidates should have the ability to demonstrate relevant personal or even released projects as part of the selection process. Handling and configuring client consumer devices, development boards and reference designs will be necessary.
