Quantity Surveyor required in Essex
GVR Solutions are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor, based in Essex. This is a permanent opportunity to work for an established and growing contractor to work within the Healthcare sector, within Essex and London, on fast track refurbishment projects with values ranging from GBP100K - GBP2m.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:
* Be reporting to the senior Surveyor/Commercial Manager
* Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies
* Ensure the commercial targets are achieved including project and programme cost, quality and time.
* Managing the costs of the project, budgeting, and cash flows
* Carry out measurement for valuations
* Analyse progress and reporting
* Identify Opportunities and risks
* Attend post tender and pre-contract meetings.
* Prepare summary reports for the client and other stakeholders
The Quantity Surveyor must have/be:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or construction related
* Excellent analytical skills to make informed, balanced business decision and reporting
* Proven track record of delivering construction projects
* Excellent communication and oral skills
* Stable employment history
* High-performing individual
* Versatile
* Excellent time keeping skills
