Ignition Driver Recruitment are currently recruiting new pass or inexperienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work from two locations based in Heywood. The ideal candidates will be looking to take what they have recently learned into the real World of commercial HGV driving.
Full training will be provided over a two week period to giveyou the initial experience and knowledge to enable you to go out and performyour duties single handedly. The work itself is predominantly PM work and will involve trunking and store deliveries. Most new starts will begin their time focusing on trunks or single hit store deliveries to 'green' stores.

Shift times & working hours of a permanent HGV Class 1 Driver:

• NightShifts
  • Starts between 18:00 and 00:00 (4 hour time window required)
  • Some weekend work required
• 7 day operation
• Full time opportunities -40 hours+per week guaranteed
• Part time opportunities -24 hoursper weekguaranteed

About the Jobas a permanent HGV Class 1 Driver for Ignition Driver Recruitment:

• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle for a selection of clients
• Trunking, Store Deliveries, Depot to Depot
• Some manual handling may be required - training will be given
• Standard vehicle maintenance checks
• Route and delivery paperwork completion as standard

What do we need from you to be an HGV Class 1 Driver?

• Full HGV Class 1 driving licence (C+E)
• 90 days tacho recorded driving in the last 180 days
• We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, butno DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements
• Digi Tachograph & DCPC Card
