We are looking for 2 project support officers to join our client NHS Digital

Location- working from home, offices based in Leeds city centre and may be required to return when safe to do so

Hours- Monday- Friday 9am- 5pm

Salary- GBP11.20 per hours

Temporary position lasting 6-9 months

This role is part of the Primary Care Support and NHAIS Decommissioning Programmes.
Working into the Project Manager, you will provide project support to the Primary Care Support Programme team, this will include:
o Working with members of the delivery team to collate updates against delivery of project plans and update progress in Microsoft project;
o Collating risks and issues from the delivery team and inputting updates into the corporate management tool;
o Manage the delivery team's central filing structure and documents to ensure they are captured and saved for future reference, audit purposes;
o Provide secretariat to PCS governance meetings, which includes Programme Meetings and Working Groups
o Process invoices using the NHS Digital corporate tools
o Working with key stakeholders (e.g. NHS Digital, NHS England & Improvement) to provide updates on progress to enable reporting.
o Collate Programme Board level reports and documentation to meet reporting deadlines

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
o Educated to foundation degree, higher national certificate, diploma level, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
" Confident in using Microsoft project, excel and word
Presenting & Communicating Information
" Able to present messaging effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
" Experience of communication techniques to understand stakeholder needs and deal with enquiries, requests, complaints to ensure resolution.
" Ability to help create a shared understanding and purpose.

Writing & Reporting
o Experience of helping track work against delivery plans, reviewing progress against milestones and targets, and assisting by taking steps to resolve impediments to progress.
o Demonstrated ability to collate and communicate information within the scope of the role's responsibilities, e.g. quality reports and information about delivery progress to a range of stakeholders in a variety of different formats, within deadlines.
o Experience supporting the monitoring and reporting on delivery progress in a variety of ways such as standard reporting tools (dashboards, highlight reports, internal tracking database and work package trackers) within the agreed timescales and to the organisation's standards for smaller projects.
o Knowledge of document management controls and processes and experience of maintaining libraries of documentation (e.g. a configuration log) including version control and document status.
