My Loughborough based client have an exciting opportunity for a Property Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will place a huge emphasis on customer service and be passionate about delivering a first-class experience.
As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of property maintenance and accounts within your own portfolio. Working in a team you will be required to build good relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.30 along with 13 Saturdays per year. Overtime is required on occasion so you will need to be flexible.
You will need to be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
Duties:
* Being the first point of contact for tenants, landlords, and contractors
* Receiving and allocating maintenance jobs
* Working closely with contractors to ensure work is carried out to a high standard and within set budgets
* Gathering and interpreting feedback from tenants to ensure the quality of service maintained.
* Ensuring prompt invoicing of jobs to relevant landlords and tenants
* Managing customer communications through the maintenance phone and WhatsApp system ensuring effective tenant communication
* Organising and conducting video inventories, inspections, move-ins, and checks outs to ensure accommodation is kept to a high-quality standard
* Certificate management, organising renewals ensuring properties are compliant with legislation.
* Rent chasing, keeping tenant arrears down to a minimum.
* Other tasks may include deed of assignments and serving of notices
Candidate criteria:
* Excellent organisational skills
* The ability to see a job through from start to finish
* Have experience in property maintenance or dealing with contractors
* Ideally have student accommodation experience
* Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
* Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
* Flexible and adaptable in approach to work
* Excellent customer service skills in order to provide high quality to service to all customers
* Have a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle
Company info and perks:
* Hours of work: 9 am till 5.30 pm Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break) & 13 Saturdays per year 10am till 3pm (30 mins lunch break)
* Salary: GBP20,000.00 - GBP24,000.00 /year
* Bonus: 5% performance annual bonus
