My client is currently looking for Graphic Designer to work within their Design department.
As an established importer and wholesaler of a wide range of home and garden goods this position gives the successful candidate the ability to gain hands on knowledge and experience of the end to end process within a fast paced, seasonally led business.
This is a diverse and exciting role for a Design Graduate
Graphic Designer, Permanent Full time. Salary Circa GBP24k,
37.5hrs per week Monday - Friday, Free parking and 20 days annual holiday plus Bank Holidays.
You will have:
* BA(Hons) in Graphic Design or related field.
* Competent in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign (knowledge of EasyCatalog would be desirable).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.
* A good creative thinker who values accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to understand, analyse and interpret trend reports and utilise findings where relevant.
* Competence with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
* Ability to create visual aspects of marketing materials for websites and social media.
* Excellent core graphic design, typography, layout and digital standards.
* Ability to produce high resolution finished artwork ready for print or online use and comfortable liaising with printers to ensure artwork meets their requirements. (Pattern design experience required).
* Responsibility for managing a highly variable workload and you will understand the importance of meeting deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This designer role is ideal for somebody fresh out of university or who is ready in the industry but ready to move on to their 2nd job in the workplace. Fun, friendly this is a company that has strong values and a positive culture.
